Restore user data that was backed up using Backup_UserData

Restore_UserData

This procedure will unpack a zip file stored in C:\qlabs\restore and copy the data to the correct folders for the username provided. It works best if you log in the new user, launch chrome and edge, configure outlook. Then log off the computer to run the component. When complete, the component will remove the unpacked zip file, but will leave the original zip file.

Technical Info

This component will check that a zip file is present at c:\qlabs\restore. If there it will verify that you have specified a username that has corresponding folders in c:\users\. After those test pass, it will unpack the zip file to c:\qlabs\working. It then checks for the presence of each configured folder in the unpacked material, copying the data to the correct locations. Once complete it will delete c:\qlabs\working.
