HP Universal Driver – Install Printer

With the HP Universal Driver, I dont have to create a different component for each model HP printer, I can take care of them all at once. This component takes the IP and Name of a printer, and installs it on the workstation. It will be available for all users on the workstation.

This component will first attempt to ping the IP you supplied. If sucsessful, it will then download the driver from HP, unpack it, then launch it using the /sm and /n switches which feed the IP and Name to the installer. Once the component runs, you will see the printer pop up in Devices pretty quickly
