This procedure creates the client download URL by using the token stored in the printix site variable. It then downloads the installer and naming it appropriately. The installer uses information in the installers name to configure the client, the printixdomain and printix token are used. The installer is then ran on the computer. Once complete, the printix client is ready for the user to log in.

You will need to know in advance the Printix Token, and Printix Domain to enter into the site variables. The Printix domain is the one created when you made the tenant. Ours may be qlabs.printix.net, enter this value into the printixdomain site variable.

The Printix token can be found in the software installer page for the tenant. On the right side, you will see the download for “Printix Client (MSI)” and right below it is the MSI Arguments. It will be something like WRAPPED_ARGUMENTS=/id:d1148f27-388f-4269-880c-dde176401d9d Copy everything after “id:” and paste it into the printix site variable.

As with all site variables, it only has to be filled in once, then you can run the Component on as many devices in the site as you wish.
